La nature, la sympathie des propriétaires

Geweldige familie die het aan alle kanten probeerd om je verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Het eten is fantastisch en komt grotendeels van de eigen biofarm. De trails in de buurt zitten vol met wildlife: vooral heel veel mooie kikkers en vogels. Het uitzicht is prachtig. En door de bijzondere biosfeer zijn er geen muggen.

Eigenlijk niets. Er is alleen geen warm water om te douchen, maar dat heb je ook echt niet nodig.

Very clean, lots of birds, lots of mushrooms. Muy limpio, muchos pájaros, muchas setas.

Location of Albergue La Laguna is great for nature and bird lovers. Lodge is quite simple but beds were comfy, clean and there were no insects in our rooms. Lodge is surrounded by nature - lagoon, forest, meadows. There are only 4 rooms and there is huge space with hammocks, tables, armchairs to relax. Staff was very friendly and they offered tasty breakfast at reasonable price. It was one of 2-3 greatest accomodation during our month stay in Costa Rica. Remote and 4x4 car access only!

English of staff/owners could be better or maybe my Spanish should be ;-)

Very remote and beautiful setting surrounded by nature!! The entire family made us feel very welcome, we especially enjoyed our hike through the jungle provided by one of the daughters ❤️ Homemade meals made mainly from food sourced on their farm were delicious and plentiful. A wonderful way to see and experience a little bit of Tico life.

The simplicity of the property may be a challenge for some. There is no mains power so few lights in communal areas and no lights in the bedrooms made for very early nights! No fans in the bedroom ( hot for sleeping!) and patchy/ non existent wifi. 4x4 essential.

The people is amazing! The hiking also quite good. Just if you go there dont forget to book an entry to the park that is not so far from Los Patos entry.
