Comfort Inn Cambridge - Highway 401

The room smelled, the people beside us had a dog, and at 1am the poor dog was howling, they were in their car smoking. After an hour I called the front desk, which resulted in nothing!!! I had to get dressed and go down there. The girl was o her phone in the eating area, I made her get up and actually watch her call the room. She was rude! I wasn't offered any compensation at all. Worst experience ever!!

Bed was very comfy and room was clean. Great to have a fridge.

Breakfast was not good! Noisy near Highway 401.

Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable bed, close to everything and breakfast was very reasonable

The only thing negative was the carpet

A male desk staff member gave a woman who showed up unannounced a key card to my room, without even accounting for her identification. She could have been anyone and I didn't give any permission to her or the hotel. I think anyone would agree this is ridiculous behaviour for a hotel, she could have stolen all my IDs and credit cards, luckily she was a friend who just needed a room, decided she's staying with me, and didn't check with me first, dropped my name and got immediate access to my room. Also breakfast ends early for late risers, especially on new year's day.

The hotel is dated, needs renovation. Pet hair on the carpet. Not a hotel I would stay again or refer.
