Das Zimmer war sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen hat uns auch allen geschmeckt und die Auswahl an Getränken war ebenfalls super. Für uns als Motorradreisende war es auch wichtig, das unsere Motorräder sicher bzw. von der Straße nicht einsehbar stehen, was hier problemlos möglich war.

Noise from the freezer under the room

The location, and had a bar and restaurant on site.

The response of the staff member in the restaurant when I discreetly pointed out that there was a piece of plastic in my food. She went to the kitchen to discuss with the chef,but obviously didn't think it was important enough to apologise. To compound the matter we were then charged a 10% service charge!!

Dining in the evening and the breakfast are perfect. Also de staff is very friendly

We booked only one night. on the way from Wales to the boat in Harwich. There are only three rooms available and there was no room left. In the morning time there was no warm shower. only freezing cold water. During breakfaNice place st it became clear that de owner was aware of the problem. Also the other 2 booked rooms had the same problem and the day before it was also an issue. And yes fixing the warm water was difficult, so we where told. But my main reason to be les positive was that when we arrived nothing was told us of this problem. So why nog be honest and tell about it when we checked in? SO yes beside this story it was okay but not enough for a very positive review. Als because of not telling it when we checked in.

Fabulous medieval thatched pub. Great food, great beers and locals playing Aunt Sally.
