Sea Side Chateau

Great ecological area, great sea view, the pool was the best! Great and friendly staff. Owner was always available and very friendly!

I would not recommend this hotel, the housekeeper went only once to my room and did not change the sheets and clean the bathroom or floor.. Bed was so hard need more maintenance the hotel.. the only one friendly was Daisy the kitchen lady that use to prepare the dishes. Only shampoo was available not even hand soap the container was almost empty, curtains smell like cigarettes and they did not had shades in the window was very bright, sheets were changed at all

We ended up canceling before we got there.

I felt from the check In we were an inconvenience. The girls never really had anything to say, the office was messy and we had to fill out these forms on a desk full of paperwork. Nobody really acknowledged us except the gals in the restaurant. The place is tired looking and it feels like nobody wants to be there. I’m glad we were only there one night

Serene compound at the confluence of the Belize river and the Caribbean. Beautiful and well maintained property with friendly staff. A bit hard to find due to the construction of a new bridge and Google Maps hasn't caught up with the changes.

Definitely stay in one of the little bungalows and not the main hotel. Good food, lovely place on the beach.

Staff was not friendly except for the chefs in the kitchen. I think the best part of the stay was the friendliness one of the chef Mr. Ellis and the grounds keeper. Rooms cleaned every 2 days they stated. Not sure if cleaning means putting a fresh set of towels every two days but that what happened. When our towels were wet and we tried to exchange they stated they had no more towels and have to wait until room service. Cups for morning coffee was broken and overall staff was very unfriendly. During checkout rather than ask how was our stay, the checkout person stated I heard that you used one of our towels to dust your rental car and we shouldn't have done that because they trying to keep the cost down! We are very low key family that doesn't cause any disturbance just trying to keep stuff clean. We did ask to borrow a car vacuum or any cleaning stuff but they stated they didn't have. The towel didn't even get dirty as it was used for light dusting but their focus is definitely not on customer service or quality.

It is tucked in a beautiful little cove area with mangrove trees around. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the food at the restaurant is fantastic, and the cabana I stayed in was awesome. Comfortable bed and hot water. All in all I had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again!

it was clean but, alas, rundown. restaurant was very very expensive and there were no alternatives. prices shown are in USD; usually in belize prices are in BZD. As an example we had a small plate of pasta – SMALL – charge was 17. we thought that was pricy for. Turns out it was USD; outrageous. There are broken-down cars and outlier buildings in disrepair in full view of rooms. Sadly, it was a nice place once, but there is no maintenance, i.e., missing light bulbs and cobwebs. also pick up at the airport charge was 25 usd, never mentioned that on the ad in hotels.com,
