Guest House Oreb

Fantastic Host could not be more welcoming ( treated on arrival with homemade lemonade and a cold local beer) Good spacious room with nice balcony facing onto the bay Fantastic little terrace perfect to relax and enjoy your home cooked meal looking over the port of kolocep 3 days was not enough 1 week at this property would have been excellent great base for nature/ swimming/ island tour/ day trip to Dubrovnik

The place is very lovely, clean and friendly. Great host, and very helpful. I recommend it for all who want to rest and relax.

It is not a good place for people with mobility problems or with heavy baggage. There is a need to take around 200 stairs to get to the hotel. In all other cases, it is a nice exercise ;)

The stand out positive was that the terrace was beautiful and the host greeted us with home made lemonade which was much needed after the 170 steps to the apartment! The host was very friendly ans also provided us with home made cakes regularly, which was lovely! Kitchen had everything we needed during our stay making it easy for us to settle in. Rooms were clean and comfy. We booked all the rooms available, if travelling in one room you may want to know the kitchen is shared and can feel crowded quickly.

170 steps up to the apartment even for the fittest of us was hard in the heat, but view worth it. One of the rooms had part of the waredrobe full with the hosts clothes, as they live on site. The host (or her mum) was often on the terrace in the morning cleaning which did sometimes feel a little off putting as not as private as expected. Their English is not great so sometimes getting what we needed was hard but we got through it. They do not respond well to messages on the booking.com site not sure if that is the site though. Only minor dislikes all in all we had a wonderful time.

This was a perfect place for a week of slow living. The hosts were the best ever, friendly and helpful. Close to swimming and cafes to eat. Heaps of walking and the swimming opportunities. The nude beach was the best swimming place we found - just do it you're on holidays.

There were some steps up to the apartment ,but our legs and heart feel much better due the exercise. Our hosts were so good in helping us with our bags.

We didn’t mind them but there are some steps.

My flight was delayed, and hence I could not make the last ferry over there at 8pm. I had to forfeit my payment that I made that same morning. Oreb would not let me switch my booking to the following night.
