"Exactly what I wanted for my Wadi Rum adventure."

10.0

This camp is amazing! Driving in you see many camps close together. I was worried that I would be at one of those. A lot of them had tents/rooms that would look out at other tents. I wanted a place where you could see nothing but desert from your window and that’s what I got! Dream camp is far enough from other camps and the rooms look out to the desert rather than being able to see other rooms for your own. It made you feel like you had the place to yourself. The communal area was also beautiful. They have lanterns on the rock wall that make it extra special at night. They also have a ladder to help you climb up a rock for a stunning view of the sunset. Dinner was delicious. There is an optional star gazing session in the evening and the leader was very knowledgeable. There’s also always complimentary tea to enjoy! They offer sunrise camel trips as well as different lengths of Jeep tours. The staff are really incredible and go out of their way to make your stay amazing. They even helped me arrange my transportation to my next stop. Thank you Fahad and everyone for such an incredible experience. With so many fake reviews on booking in Wadi Rum I didn’t know where to start when looking for a camp. I’m so happy I ended up at Dream!

Make sure to plan your trip so that you are out and about during the day. Like almost all camps in Wadi Rum the air conditioning is turned off during the day and the rooms get hot. However, overnight it worked excellent and was perfectly cool!

"Good"

7.0

It is not a long journey in from the car park. Wadi Rum is truly spectacular! Good BBQ cooked in the sand. Very knowledgeable manager on the stars.

Numbers are down due to the issues in Gaza. As a result there are very few tourists around which is a shame for Jordan. However I am not sure how it would work if the place was busier. Our trip into the desert of Wadi Rum was very impressive. Our driver not so. He sits in the cab whilst you ride in the back under a canopy. There are several dedicated spots to take photos each with a coffee camp and shop! They are all the same. Our driver gave us very little info at each stop but you do get to explore for as long as you like. Thankfully the scenery is spectacular so made up for us ending up in a convoy with another car from another camp. We could easily have gone a different route round to avoid that. Due to us being only 8 in camp. Us and a group of 6. We were upgraded in our accommodation from tent to plastic igloo tent. This should have been lovely but it really was just too hot. Even with AC I think we would have been better in the tent. Be warned the camps seem very close together for such a huge place. The night sky is spoiled by other camp lights.

"Superb"

9.0

First - go to Wadi Rum and take advantage of all the exploring! The breakfast was excellent, including fresh omelets. The staff was very accommodating and conscientious. We booked two "jeep" tours and a sunset camel ride all of which were outstanding. It is a camp so the facilities are a little bit rustic but very clean and comfortable. It is a great place to stay for and amazing experience.

No real complaints.

"Nice camp; tent very hot during daytime."

6.0

We had a private tent with airco which runs 7h30PM until 5h30AM (told to us at arrival). Tent too hot (>30C) during morning and day time hours. Open the tent door means lots of flies getting in (no insect-nets). Interior of the tent (we had a bubble tent) is nice and clean. No wifi in tent; good wifi available in common area. Food was tasty. Friendly staff. First evening heard many airplanes between 7PM and 11PM.

"Great camp, lovely staff in a perfect spot"

9.0

There are many camps in Wadu Rum, its hard to chose but Dream camp have picked their location perfectly. The camp is clean and the facilities are great. It’s nicely styled in its environment. It’s nestled next to a large rock from which you can climb up and watch the sunset. The staff were super lovely and the food was incredible - some of the best I had in Jordan. Dinner was a fabulous spread of amazing salads, dips and maqluba - the traditional chicken and rice dish. Breakfast was great too! And there’s always a large pot of tea on the fire.

"Unforgettable Wadi Rum experience"

10.0

This was the second Wadi Rum camp I booked (after cancelling due to unclear and negative communication with another place) and I'm SO GLAD I did. I didn't know what we would get because there are so many camps that are so highly rated with very similar offerings, but Wadi Rum Dream camp was an AMAZING experience. The evening meal was scrumptious, the night star presentation was unforgettable (even though it was a new moon with very few visible stars!), and the 4x4 desert jeep tour was FABulous. Their excursion offerings were affordably priced and straightforward. Honestly, we weren't sure what we'd do on a 4-hour desert ride, but we got to hear the cave echoes, played sand volleyball, climbed on a rock bridge, and our driver showed us how to make Bedouin soap out of a desert plant. Amjad the camp host was hospitable but not overbearing, and accommodations were comfortable. Waking up to a panoramic view of the desert is stunning. You can't drive to the camp yourself so need to make arrangements for pick-up, which required some coordination but was easy. We arrived in the afternoon and left the next morning and I'm not sure what we'd have done with another day, but highly recommend spending a night there.
