Quality Inn Tallapoosa

Noone was not present at the hotel when we came to check in.Did not like it at all. The hotel room floor was nasty. There was a bottle cap still in the floor, and someones sock was behind the door from the previous people. There was no coffee pot in the room, but the coffee packs and coffee condiments were available in the room.

I was not given the room type I reserved. I purposefully selected this motel because I wanted a SMOKING room with a King bed. When I confirmed that st check-in I was told there are NO smoking rooms st this motel AT ALL, and was given a Handicap envied King room instead. The front desk clerk said he’d put Kevin a room right by the front door so I could easily step outside to smoke. Ever after I told him “I do NOT want to be by the front door that’s exactly where he put me. Very unsatisfied that the room I was given is NOT the room type I reserved and paid for. Your website lists multiple rooms & room types available as SMOKING. The room types at this location needs to be updated & corrected ASAP. This is BAIT AND SWITCH and technically is illegal.

This location is obviously transitioning from another brand to Rodeway. There were construction materials on site, and the room appeared to be in the middle of a renovation. Headboards had been removed and evidence of screws and glue remained on the wall. The beds were clean, the shower curtain was dirty. The carpet in the room looked relatively new, the carpet in the hall needed to be replaced. The hair dryer did not work. One was provided after the night manager came on duty. There was writing on the toilet seat lid. Maybe it will be a more satisfactory facility once renovations are complete.

Everyone was very nice n helpful glad that they have kids around for my kids to play with.

we booked handicapped room, the room we got had a tub not a walking shower, so the moved us. The shower chair was bent/deformed, he would not replace with another shower chair, the shower was a trickle and floor was very slippery with no matt. The air conditioner was hard to adjust. The ice bucket that should have been replaced had mold in the lid, the fridge didn't work, the microwave was dirty, and the staff was rude to us, we felt like the didn't want us there. We were so uncomfortable we left about 3:30 in the morning, concerned about eating the breakfast, we didn't want to stay for that. We booked this stay for our 3rd anniversary, turn out bad, we will NOT be back to here again, For everyone else the is lower than a 1 star, the only thing we didnt see were bugs/roaches

This is the worst hotel ive ever stayed in. I didnt even check in. I stayed here 2 weeks ago and they put me in a room with the shower not even attached. Nothing worked not even the tv was hooked up. When i tried to get a refund for this stay they said there was nothing they could do. I will not be be booking here at this hotel or this site again. They said it will be nice after the remodel , well i wont be there then.
