Holiday Inn Express Harrisburg I-81 - Hershey By IHG

The staff was fabulous, welcoming and engaging. The room was clean. The breakfast was great.

When we checked in we tested the blackout curtains. They are electrically activated instead of having ropes or chains. They did not work. I asked for our room to be changed. That request was refused. The lady at the front desk said they just needed to be charged. She came up to the room a couple of times, and brought wall warts. She saw that the curtain in pictures was broken on her last visit and said she would speak to the manager. The manager never bothered to try to change our situation.

Comfortable, very conveniently located

Was visiting the wineries and museum in the area. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable- on the weekdays. If coming on a spring/summer weekend, be prepared that there are many families with young children due to the proximity to HersheyPark. But the hotel itself was quite nice- one can tell that the owner/manager really take pride in the hotel
