Seems recently updated. The room was in great shape.

We stayed at this hotel from Friday to Sunday for a wedding. The entire hotel did not have hot water the entire weekend. The water was so could that we had to use a washcloth heating the water with the coffee pot just to clean ourselves. According to staff, the manager had no plans of coming in until Monday and obviously worrying about getting it fixed until then too. They continued to check people in on Sunday with no intention of saying there's no hot water. We were told the manager would call us when she got in to make accommodations for the inconvenience. Never heard from her until I called the following Thursday. She acted mad that she had to take calls from people who had no hot water. Said she had to wait for the owner to tell her what to do about reimbursement, but after a week, he hadn't said anything to her. This hotel was full from the NFL Draft, 2 wedding parties, soccer & baseball players. The level of care by both the manager and owner is zero for its patrons. An entire hotel unable to care for themselves hygienically. What kind of health issue is that Wyndham? You have an owner and manager that didn't care, and still do not. Over 2 weeks later, and they still haven't even called to apologize. Wyndham, you would do yourself a favor by removing your name from that building. I won't even start in about the elevator that barely worked. According to a staff member, a servicer tech had told them it was about to break, but wasn't fixed. What an unsafe owner.

Breakfast was presented well, lots of choices and fully stocked. Room was quiet and clean. Location was very good for our travels.

Arrived here after a long drive and they had no hot water and were turning people away. Manager at front desk was incredibly rude, said it was my fault for booking through a third party and proceeded to yell at me while I was on the phone with my credit card company trying to get refunded. When I asked for a moment so I could finish the phone call, she said "I was going to help you, but now I've changed my mind." Truly couldn't believe it. Will never book a Wyndham again.

Wingate is a budget hotel, i understand that. What is unacceptable is not having hot water for half of our stay. What is absolutely inexcusable is the utterly terrible and negligent customer service we recieved on check out day and this whole week. There was NOT any notification at the desk when we arrived back to the hotel on saturday night telling us there was no hot water. THIS would have been the responsible thing to do. When we checked out the next morning there still was NO notice and I had to call the desk to verify that it was not just OUR room that had no hot water. At the desk we were told that the Manager would contact us on Monday and our information was taken. There was not even AN APOLOGY. No call was received on Monday, so I called on Tuesday. I was TOLD that the manager was busy making the calls to all the guests who were inconvenienced and had not gotten to me yet. Did they offer to have me talk to the Manager at that point. NO.. I called back on thursday and was told again that the Manager would call me. I called again on friday morning and was told that the manager was arriving in 5 minutes. It is now 11 hours since i called. What kind of service is this? What kind of manager ducks customers calling with a legitimate issue when SHE SHOULD HAVE CALLED 5 days ago? I probably would have gone quietly if there had been ANY semblence of apology and contrite behaviour while we were at the hotel. There was NOTHING. I expect compensation for one night of my stay. I will be sharing this review on every platform available. People don't expect The Plaza when they go to Wingate but they do expect to get the value that they paid for.
