Comfort Suites University - Research Park

The hotel hasn’t been updated in a while. The beds were uncomfortable. The showers felt unsafe and a cockroach came out of the drain when my husband went to use it.

The overall stay was great. Location was everything. Breakfast was really good.

They were quick to change our room after we showed them pictures of the mattress on the hide away bed. Customer Service was very nice and friendly.

We had to change rooms due to the disgusting shape of the hide away bed mattress. It had multiple stains that were nasty. The comforter had a big hole in it.

The suite we stayed in had stains on the wall and carpet. The bedding had huge holes in it.

Outdated

When we got to the hotel we noticed a lot of homeless and drug addicts hanging out in front of the facility, the parking lot was gross and the fencing around it was falling down and not well kept. The first room they gave us had a bunch of hair in the bed so we asked for new bedding and we were just going to switch out everything ourselves but they offered us a new room. The room they gave us the a/c wasnt working and we found a bug in the bed. We ended up checking out after that, that same evening. The front desk was kind and understanding when we told them we would like to check out. But then we checked our bank statement we had an extra charge for the room and a 250.00 fee. I called the property 3 times to figure out what was going on and every time someone took my number and no one called me back. Im not usually one to leave reviews especially a bad review but this was not a pleasant experience.

Nice friendly staff

Pretty decent for thr price, continental breakfast definitely above what we were expecting. Only real con is that it reaked of weed everywhere
