The room was clean but had a not clean feel about it. Not sure how to explain that. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We had a bay view which was nice, but the outside of the windows was in need of cleaning which is understandable with the beach weather. The bathroom was ok but in need of repairs to the cabinet and baseboards. The handicap bar was on the side next to the commode which made it impossible for a short person with short arms to reach and step between the commode and the tub side to step in. Towels and washcloths were super clean and soft. The hallway was quiet at night so there were no problems with noise from other rooms, etc for sleeping. The breakfast was sufficient. We have stayed here before so we already knew what to expect for the price we paid. I would stay again. Close to Jeanette Pier even though it was closed for repairs the entire week. A short distance away was the Outer Banks pier which was open.

"My mini vacation."

I went to be with my child field trip and was completely blown away with the great service and friendly atmosphere! I was able to have my own mini vacation and rest and am planning to return ASAP!

"Perfect Beachfront Stay in Nags Head 馃寠"

I had a really great stay at the Comfort Inn South Oceanfront in Nags Head. The best part was being right on the beach鈥攚alking out in the morning and seeing the ocean (and catching sunrise) was amazing. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed after a long day outside. I also appreciated the free breakfast鈥攊t was easy, had good options, and saved time before heading out. The staff was friendly and made the whole stay feel easy and relaxed.
