Peaceful, slept well, would come back again, u did say there was a bath, but only shower, but still great

Remote access via lockbox, excellent facilities, as per the advertised listing. Host was very proactive and swift to respond. Very much reccomended.

Parking on street was free but was a tad awkward, due to the number of other vehicles. But I was using a Transporter van, so took up more room than most other vehicles needed.

Very clean house. Live in landlord. Would book again

My second stay here, great host (rang me when I forgot to update her with eta), great location for our trip, room quiet, clean, warm and comfortable. Easy access, parking. Theres a retail park nearby so if you have a car, lots of options to eat. If you are walking, theres a Tescos Extra (cafe open to 5pm), shop to midnight, and a Toby Carvery (open till 11pm) within half an hour of the property.

The room I booked this stay was a bit smaller than last time - would book the larger room for a longer stay

Room was very nice and clean. The lady who welcomed me was very friendly and explained the layout and WiFi details. I have stayed here 3 times now and has always been pleasant. Highly recommended and will stay again for sure.

My first floor room was clean, comfortable and warm, and the house is in a quiet residential area. The room was well equipped - a small table to sit at, a kettle, small fridge and a microwave. Tea, coffee and UHT milk were supplied. The shared bathroom was very clean with a walk in shower (rather than the 'kind you get over a bath', so was much easier/safer to use). Plenty of towels were provided. There were x2 other rooms occupied during my stay (I think there were 4 rooms) but I didnt find getting access to the bathroom a problem. The host was very helpful. Theres a large Tesco Extra about 20 minutes walk away which is open to midnight and has a good cafe where I went for breakfast. Theres a Toby Carvery much closer, which is open to 11pm but I didnt use it.

Information on accessibility in the description would be useful. When I booked, it looked like there were only two rooms available, one mentioned access via stairs, so I booked the other one hoping it was on the ground floor. Turned out it wasnt, I could have asked before my trip but it was all a 'bit of a rush'. It would be helpful to add, 'all rooms are on first floor accesssed by a single flight of stairs with a handrail on the left hand side'? I worked around it, but someone else might need to know. Knowing how many others could be sharing the bathroom/toilet with you would be worth knowing. It wasnt something I thought about when booking and it wasnt a problem during my stay. Tavistock Road (nearby) traffic seemed very busy. I used taxis to get to/from the railway station and each trip, the taxi took longer than the 15 minutes Google estimated.
