Days Inn by Wyndham Vega TX

Pool was empty, signage was lacking (when’s breakfast? What’s the Wi-Fi password? Were we sleeping on used sheets and reusing the previous guest’s towels or did that sign only apply to extended stay guests?), check-in was slow, car was illegally parked in the ONE handicapped spot, front desk employees were distant, and the breakfast…well, that is just false advertising.

The check-in was fine, pleasant night staff but we arrived late and claimed the last room. The bathtub was never cleaned and had hair all throughout. There was food left in the fridge, a tube of lip balm in the room, and dirty unvacuumed areas of the room. We received cleaning supplies for the tub and when i told the manager in the morning about the rest, all i got was excuses. I pointed out the terrible customer service i got on top of everything else along with attitude and received a half-hearted apology.

Older place but some updates and appeared clean, but the one sleeping nearest the bathroom got his leg chewed up. Didn’t see evidence of bedbugs but the mattress and box spring in our room were zipped into some sort of sacks and we didn’t unzip them. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast wasn’t much. Pillows were all very firm.

As soon as I saw the dirty exterior door, I had a bad feeling. I arrived midafternoon, and decided I did not want to stay all night, so laid down to nap with the intent to just drive into Santa Fe that day after a rest. My rest was unesy because I felt little things hopping onto my legs. I had to leave quickly. Yecch.

The reservation says breakfast is included but in the reality is that they only provided the honeybuns… It’s a joke in my opinion.

Breakfast was just coffee and a honeybun not what I was expecting. I paid more to stay there because breakfast was offered. A honeybun is not worth the extra money to stay there.

This hotel was a bit rough around the edges. Pool still under renovation. They advertised breakfast but it was only coffee and packaged sweet roll.

It needs allot of work. There is no food within at least 10 miles of this hotel. We had to eat dinner at the local pilot gas station. They’re continental breakfast was a honey bun and coffee. ( so it was back to pilot
