"Poncho Liner"

6.0

I stayed at this place the other week while working for Power South at the dam. I didn't think it was too bad of a place. The internet could be faster. I also left my poncho liner in my room on accident, so I hope they can mail that back to me. Have a Merry Christmas! Boom!

""Cheated Out Of Reward Points""

6.0

The hotel was ok as he was updating some of the rooms. I stayed there on June 21, 2017 and checked out the next day to go out of town. I came back to stay on the 23 for 2 nights. I asked if I could have a receipt from my stay on the 21 but they didn't put me in the computer system so it was no record found. Now the lady that told me this is the same lady that checked me in on the 21. Also when I checked in on the 23 they didn't put me in the computer system, it wasn't until I called Choice Customer Service the next day then he added me. Just be careful because if you like to get your point for your stay ask for a printed out receipt when they check you in not the lil card they write your information on. Choice only gave me some extra point but didn't make the owner Nick credit me for the missing stays...so I couldn't receive my reward for my 2 night stays. Will never stay here ever again or use the rewards program. Jessica that work at the front desk was awesome, the other two ladies had attitude problems!!!

"One night stop"

4.0

We stopped here for one night on our way to FL. The hotel is very clean. The beds were very comfortable. When we went to our room- we rented one of only 2 suites... it was about 90 degrees in the room. The small room air conditioner had been off and wasn't doing a good job cooling the very large room. They were very helpful in trying accommodate us with fans etc...and the room did finally cool later that evening. The pull out coach in the suite was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was simple and not well stocked. The front desk worker was trying to fill the food but when she did, she filled it with very small amounts. While we were there she refilled the eggs a couple of times with enough for two or three servings.

"Nasty Hotel"

2.0

I stayed at this hotel on 1/1/17 to 1/3/17. At the end of my stay I found blood on my bed sheets that was large enough to be seen by housekeeping. Who ever made the bed thought they would be clever and hide the stain by tucking it under the mattress. I don't sleep with blankets tucked into the bottom of the bed. The first night I kicked out the blankets. The next day after I return from my grandfathers wake the bed was remade. I did the same thing the second night and kicked out the blankets. On the morning of checking out I was cleaning up my things. When I stay in a hotel I pull off all the blankets to ensure I did not forget anything. As I pulled on the comforter I noticed a decent size blood stain that was not of my own. I immediately felt sick to my stomach that my body came into contact with someone else's blood. There is no telling what blood borne pathogens were in that blood that I had laid in for not one but two nights! I have contacted choice requesting a full refund of my stay and they want me to get in contact with an owner who has no general manager while he/she is out of town. I have pictures to provide of this stain and I want this owner held responsible for the actions of his/her employees who let these things go unnoticed. If the blood contained any form of diseases there is a chance even in dried blood of contracting some form of disease. I will not settle this matter until I am given a full refund for my stay there. I am asking for a small amount compared the issues I will now face when I go to other hotels. I will now have to be very detailed before I even lay in another hotels bed because of this traumatic experience. I hope this hotel will do the right thing and refund my money as I am requesting.

"Its a Quality Inn"

6.0

We made reservations here because they were the ONLY place to accept our dog. When we arrived huge sign on front door said no pets. However, they did allow us to stay due to making our reservations a good month and a half prior and before the change in policy. We stayed in room 120 which was a king Jacuzzi suite. It looks like the tried to newly renovate room, but the AC had no knobs and only had option of full blast on or off. The mattress desperately needs replacing as well as the pillows. The room TV was ok, but we had issues with the remote. The front desk gave us another one but still had issues with changing channels and volume. The fridge is older and no way to adjust the temps so it froze our drinks. The microwave is a rather old one but reheated leftover pizza just fine. The breakfast is lacking! I went to dispense OJ and it burst out like it had crust stopping it and when I looked in cup after taking a sip and it had bugs in it. We did not eat anything else. Now that they do not accept dogs we will not be returning. It is a good effort to try and spruce up the place but still has a long way to go as the price for a night WITH military discount was $110 and $20 a night for the dog.The pet fee was also only accepted in CASH.

"Funeral services "

2.0

This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. The rooms had a very strong smell which my husband thought was from the cleaning the carpets. I rented 2 rooms and my sister in law rented 1 room, and they all had that smell. One of the rooms that I rented the carpet was wet and the bathroom ceiling was full of mold, and the pillows had mold on them. When I reported to front desk the clerk was VERY rude. My son spoke with 2 gentlemen as they were coming out of room with pillows laughing. There was nothing funny about this situation. I woke up in the middle of the night having problems breathing with my asthma, which is from the chemical smell. I reported them to the health department in Andalusia and they are supposed to go inspect everything out and get back with me later in the week. I will never stay at a quality inn ever again. I have tried to contact choice privileges but no one answers phone but I will continue till I do speak to someone. This is people's life that this mess affected.

"not pleasant"

4.0

Check in about 3pm, only one receptionist and her name was Jessica. Jessica actually did as good as anyone could do under these circumstances. She was by herself trying to check in about 30 people and answer the telephone. When we got to our room, room was hot and not very clean. The whole room was not very clean, we then checked our bedding and found stains on sheets, pillow cases, and even the comforter. We stripped the bed and carried it back to the front desk, housekeeping not available, Jessica apologized and got some more bedding. We got back to the room, this bedding was thread bare with holes in it. We carried it back and finally got some we could use. We had a lot of problems with the door key de-activating, we had to have it re-done 4 or 5 times, this was ridiculous. furthermore, the ice maker on the bottom level was in-op, the dryer was not working and this really is not a good setting traveling with a load of kids playing a baseball tournament. Again Jessica stepped up and allowed us to use the dryer in the office to dry baseball uniforms, Jessica was fantaskic, as far as the rest of the staff, they need to work on customer relations, very unpleasant.

"Worst customer service experience ever."

4.0

Was given worst possible room (not a sole there! Yet I'm upstairs (no elevator) with stairs on the end and my room is dead center). My three kids and I lugged our stuff up to find an extremely hot room with air that was not going to cool the room any time soon...since there was a half inch gap in the door when it was closed. Long story short, because I just get pissed every time I think about it...it took 4 phone calls (& an hour later!) from the very incompetent woman at front desk to Nick...who I later found out was Nick Patel, the owner, just to get my room changed. (All because I used points to pay for my 2 nights there). New room's door also was not aligned straight, but at least it cooled down. I'll never stay in this place again.

"Nice Hotel"

6.0

We stayed in the jacuzzi suite. The room was nice and clean. There were a few wear and tear issues, but overall it was fine. The Lady who ran the desk at night was really nice and helpful. Way too cold to try the pool.

"Avoid staying here if possible"

2.0

The lobby is nice enough, but don't let that fool you. The room was smelly (almost like incense) and damp. The carpet was buckled. The comforter on the bed had suspicious stains. The microwave and refrigerator were probably over twenty-five years old, and the interior seal of the microwave had actually melted and broken off in various places. There were huge water stains with black mold above the shower. There was something on the bottom of the bathtub - maybe from the ceiling. The a/c unit was very old, and the filter area looked very dirty. Between the smell and the mold, I couldn't breathe. I returned to the front desk to politely tell the clerk I was not staying. However, she had already charged my card at check-in. (She was new, so maybe she didn't know not to do this.) She tried to get me to switch rooms, but I refused - If that room was that bad, there is no way the other rooms were better. She had to call the owner to get permission to credit my card. He wanted to talk to me personally on the phone, and he also tried to get me to switch rooms. I persisted, and he agreed to credit my card, but he wouldn't do it until he came in that night. He said he was afraid since she was new that she might accidentally charge me again. Thankfully, I didn't have any problems with the refund, and he did what he said he would do. This place is just as expensive as the nicer place in town, so go there if you can. It's not worth saving ten bucks.
