Nezame Hotel

Frukosten var god och området runtomkring hotellet var otroligt fint! Personalen var också väldigt trevlig och rummet var rymligt.

Jag gillade inte att de hade comforters istället för vanliga täcken, men det är endast en fråga om preferens. Det var också svårt att hitta middag på kvällarna (om man inte köper till middagspaket) då det inte fanns några restauranger öppna kvällstid, så vi åt på 7/11 varje kväll.

Chambres confortables et propres, équipements et onsen très bien.

La vue sur les montagnes était très belle, la chambre confortable, et le bain public très relaxant (tout comme le fauteuil massant !). Il faut être prêt à dormir sur des futons, ça fait partie de l'expérience. Il y a des fours à micro-ondes disponibles à la réception, on a pu manger sur le pouce en revenant de notre randonnée sur le Nakasendo.

L'insonorisation n'est pas exceptionnelle (chambres voisines, route rapide, musique dans le couloir) mais c'est supportable.

The Breakfast & Dinner

The property appears to date from the 1970s–1980s and has a noticeably dated, old-fashioned feel. It would benefit from comprehensive modernisation throughout, with particular attention to updating the rooms to create a more contemporary and appealing living space.

Very Japanese

Great hotel with nice room and mountain view. Traditional Japanese breakfast was a real plus. Conveniently located for walking access to Nezame-no-toko rocks.

The only drawback was the hotel is a long walk from the town and its facilities. We ended up using taxis quite a lot, as the local buses are infrequent and don't run in the evening. Also finding food in Agematsu on Wednesday evening was impossible. The place is like a ghost town. The hotel restaurant requires a 2 day advance reservation for dinner, something we weren't told by booking.com when making the booking. We ended up with pot noodles from 7-11! Beware!

Location was good. Room was bigger than other hotel rooms in Japan. Clean and a nice view.

We were not able to charge our phones without adapter. Amenities and hotel are old. It needs an upgrade.
