Nezame Hotel

Great tatame style room. Onsen super welcome specially after hiking for hours in the cold. Heater in the room is awesome.

The room was a bit too big for one person only. Not really a complain I guess but you do pay for the big room.

This was a really lovely place to stay in Agematsu. The rooms have Western beds but touches of older Japanese decor. The onsen is nice and clean. Taxis are available from the train station, and the staff are very helpful.

This hotel is best enjoyed with the use of a car. I visited by train and while I had a nice trip it was definitely impacted negatively given that the only food near the hotel (by foot) is a 7/11. Restaurants in town were often not open when I visited (October). This is understandable since Agematsu is a small town. Given the somewhat infrequent transportation to other towns, this presented logistical challenges that ate up time. None of this is the fault of the hotel, but it is something to be aware of and consider when making your plans to visit. I highly recommend a car and will come back with one next year!

Отель расположен неподалеку от живописной достопримечательности Nezame-no-toko Gorge. Это красивое место где также можно прогуляться по лесным тропам. Персонал отеля очень гостеприимны и прекрасно говорят по английски. Отель, конечно, не новый, но чистый и комфортный, я бы с удовольствием посетил это место снова. Здесь немного туристов. Завтра и ужины невероятно вкусные и сытные. До станции можно добраться на такси или неспеша прогуляться 25 минут.

Friendly Hotel Manager and staff. Just a stone's throw from Nezame Gorge. The ambience was pleasant.

Petty rules and restrictions: couldn’t use surplus juice from breakfast for water bottles; couldn’t get milk for coffee in the room from the kitchen….

Esta cruzando la calle de un escenario natural (Nezame no toko), la estación de bus es a 2 minutos de la entrada principal. Hay baños termales. Muy amplias habitaciones (aunque antiguas). Seven eleven es muy cerca.

It was close to the pretty gorge in the nearby valley.

Well there was no shower/bath in the room and we were expected to shower/bathe in the public onsen bath in the hotel with absolutely no privacy-when you’re travelling with a very socially awkward 16 year old this was not acceptable to have no alternative. We arrived at about 5.00 pm and there was no food available either for dinner or breakfast - despite the hotel having a restaurant. We were told we could try 7/11 near the hotel for food! It was all a bit dead in the town and there were simply no alternatives so our dinner was 7/11 potato croquettes and pot noodles! The hotel just feels quite dated and despite it being in a touristy area it just doesn’t feel like the hotel tries hard. The rooms were ok, very clean, but dated.
