Comfort Inn Parry Sound

No elevator - told beforehand, only one bedside table for a queen bed- very inconvenient, bedside table not cleaned, attached room door unlocked with other room occupied when we checked in, property allowed smoking outside on the property so had to close window because of smoking below window

Decent motel, but they didn’t clean the room and make the bed during a 2 night stay. That’s crummy.

Hotel overboooked a one night stay and my mom and I were told the only room left was a single queen bed. It was not a queen bed and calling it a double would even be a stretch. No offer to adjust pricing for their error. Linen was super thin. Room was roasting when we entered and took about a half an hour to cool down. Purple stain/leak in bathtub and sink faucet leaked constantly. Small love-seat in room had a single pullout bed, but no linen. Drapes did not close completely, so traffic/headlights from the McDonald’s drive thru was constant. Gross overall and not worth almost $300!

Breakfast was really good. Staff were very nice!

We booked 6 weeks prior to arrival but they had to scramble to find rooms for us (2 couples) while we waited for about 1/2 an hour. Our rooms should have been assigned no later than the morning of our arrival day.
