What a wonderful way to see Halong Bay. This boat was head and shoulders better than any other boat we saw in the bay. Felt very special

"Definitely not 5 star"

If you are gluten free or celiac, don’t come on this cruise because your breakfast options consist of fruit only and coffee or tea. If you like to have a cup of tea or coffee after your meal, don’t come either because you have to pay for everything on board. They even happily will tell you water is complimentary! It is definitely not 5 star; the ship is worn and has lots of unsightly patch up jobs. The staff are gorgeous and make the trip. For the money, it really was very over priced for what it was. Positives; The Halong bay environment is gorgeous of course but with many operators, I’d try another organisation. Dinner was delicious.

"Over my expectations !"

The crew was just amazing. All the staff went over my expectations and usually my expectations are high. They made sure my teenager had fun. All the time, I felt that the staff was one step forward of my needs. Highly recommended !!

"Don’t book this cruise"

DON’T BOOK SILVER ROOM and don’t get room 109. The view from the balcony is litteraly a wall! Horrible stay and they did noting to help us… won’t recommend this cruise.

Wendy is a fantastic tour Director. All the staff were fantastic, food was great, The boat itself was outstanding. We had the VIP suite and it was unbelievable! Privacy to die for. In our opinion well worth the extra money. Our friends had a regular room and it was very nice.

We had a great experience with Scarlet Pearl Cruises! We did a 3 days - 2 nights trip with round trip limousine transport from Ha Noi. The logistics were managed reasonably well considering the bewildering traffic in Ha Noi Old Quarter where we were picked up. From then on the trip was very smooth. As Scarlet Pearl Cruises guests, we were welcome to our own lounge at the port, while waiting for our speed boat with other guests. Checking in was a breeze and our luggages were taken care of by the staff, and Phong (the cruise's manager) and Anna (the lead guide) who greeted us were exceptionally charming. After a calm 30-minute boat ride, we arrived at the cruise. The staff greeted us very warmly from the deck as we boarded. We had a delicious lunch while the cruise makes its way to Lan Ha Bay. The dining room has floor to ceiling glass, and it was an unforgettable experience dining while watching the impressive limestone formations passing by. In the afternoon we chose to visit Viet Hai village. Riding the bicycle
