Clarion Pointe Apex - Holly Springs

The location was convenient for the purposes of my travel there.

Front desk clerk (Beth) was exceptionally rude. It took her almost 15 min to get me checked in because she decided to answer a call and help the caller instead of placing the caller on hold and finish checking me in. She then placed me in a room with a non-working toilet. I went back to the front desk and then she put me in a room that had bed bugs! Of course, I didn’t know until the bites showed up the next day. I immediately reported it to the front desk clerk (Shaunte) and the GM (“AK”) & showed him the bites. I reported Beth’s treatment of me to the GM and he apologized for her actions. He said check-in should take no longer than 3 min and, yes, she should have placed the caller on hold when I was checking in. The GM did not, however, apologize for the bed bug bites I suffered—he didn’t offer to place me in a different room and compensate me for pain and suffering. All that he did was spray my room and claim that the hotel is in a pest management program. When I checked out the nxt morning, the front desk clerk (a white male—I didn’t get his name) was very kind & friendly towards me. So overall, this was probably one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time (I’m a seasoned traveler to boot).

This property was more or less a last minute choice. We needed a place off the interstate with a reasonable price and a restaurant near by. It fit the bill. The property was clean and quiet. The breakfast was better than I expected

The property is older but it has been painted and cleaned up. Some of the reviews I didn't find to be true. The staff was nice. The road off the Interstate was extremely busy. Make the turn at the traffic light and enter from the side entrance

Our room smelled like diarrhea. It was so bad! Hotel staff sprayed it with air freshener and said there was no other rooms.

Renovated but still seemed old

Water pressure in shower sucks.

This was by far the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The Clarion Pointe in Holly Springs was absolutely disgusting — from filthy floors and stained bedding to a terrible smell throughout the room. It was so bad that we checked out immediately after seeing the condition of the place. The photos online are completely misleading. The cleanliness and maintenance are unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one carrying the Clarion name. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This place needs a complete deep cleaning and serious management attention before anyone should consider staying here.

The front desk attendant was very friendly at check-in. The room smelled like smoke. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was a disaster. It was not put out in a timely manner and the juice and waffle maker were broken.
