"They won't honor the booking agreement"

I booked specifically to pay at the hotel as my companion and I were going to split the expenses. Despite the booking explicitly stating funds to be collected at the property, the clerk charged my credit card used for booking, saying it was required by their "rules." They did the same thing previously, saying it was required by the service I used to book. I don't know which time they were lying, but it has to have been one of the two. It's a decent hotel and the price is a bargain, but I'll pay more to stay elsewhere in the future since I've never had this occur anywhere else.

"I do not recommend "

The first thing room we were put in the toilet didn’t flush and the second had bed bugs and they didn’t do anything about. Overall hoping it doesn’t follow me home
