Comfort Inn Somerset - Lake Cumberland

Staff was very kind and friendly. Good location, bed was clean.

Pool was too cool, price too high rooms too cramped.

I really appreciated the lady at the front desk and how wonderful the breakfast attendant was. Great Breakfast. Loved the beds and showers.

When I called to verify my reservation the staff member on the phone was extremely rude. She stated there was no reservation, I offered my confirmation number and she cut me off and put me on hold, at first I thought she hung up on me, she had a different women come to the phone and she was able to see my reservation. Upon getting to room, the door wouldn’t even latch, this was reported to staff during our 2 night stay and nothing was done. You just push on the door and it would open. We slammed it very hard to try to get it to latch and it still didn’t work. My son wanted to swim in the pool, it was terrible. There was green algae looking stuff coated on the bottom. It was disgusting. No room service such as cleaning was done during our stay and we had to ask several times for towels and washcloths. Very unhappy with this place and don’t recommend especially for the price.

The property was clean and comfortable! The lady that checked us in was super nice! Great stay!!!

I don’t eat breakfast. Location was convenient to the lake and restaurants I like.

I can’t think of anything. Of course, room rate could be lower, but was pretty competitive.

Air conditioning loud and not consistent, we had some ants too, drunk people in hallway, needs a refresh in pain and new tubs
