"A decent value for busy Madrid; walkable from train station with a slight uphill."

Not too far from train station, quiet lodging especially with a room in the back. Very clean. Looked like a decent breakfast, but we had to leave too early to take advantage of it.

I had trouble pre-registering for check-in as advised, but staff made it easy to check in onsite. But "onsite" means at a different location, so you have to go there first to get your room keys. It's not too far.
