Very nice Super 8. I was surprised at the big lobby and the marble tile floor. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. Walmart and McDonald’s are within walking distance.

"Foul smell in first room"

Our first room smelled horribly of animal waste! I’m generally not a complainer especially for just a 2-night stay where we wouldn’t spend much time in the room, but the smell was horrendous they had to have known when they cleaned it that it was foul smelling. The front desk person upon my complaint said “oh yeah, we had a dog stay & it went pee in there so we are going to have to have the carpets cleaned.”… but they had put us in there anyway knowing it smelled terrible! She did admit it probably should have been blocked off & not rented. I understand when you allow pets this stuff can happen, but I did not like that they tried to rent it out with such a foul smell. They should have blocked it off as the desk clerk said until it was properly cleaned. They moved us to another room (on the 2nd floor) and it was fine so most of my rating is based on the 2nd room.
