Convenient easy on easy off

My husband and I stayed one night on our way to Florida. We have stayed here the last couple of years. While it has never been a “great” experience it worked. Not this year. The place is filthy and disgusting. The outdoor trash cans, one of which is in the pool area, are overflowing with garbage and rodents. The pool area is dirty….empty beer cans are all over amongst the trash and leaves. The morning we were leaving we overheard a guest who was staying in room 122 that his wife had been bitten by bedbugs and he showed the desk clerk the bugs. The breakfast kitchen area is also unkept with both waffle makers broken. Upon checking out, I told the owner about the garbage and his response was “oh”.

No one at dest most of the time. Let stuff run out at breakfast bar. Waited 15 minutes to check out no one ever came.

The proximity was convenient to where I needed to be and the price was fair and the breakfast was a plus.

When we were leaving, it was pretty warm in the lobby area.

Not taken care of well at all. From the moment I pulled in the parking lot I regretted that I would be staying there, you could just tell by the grounds itself that it was not going to live up to its supposed rating of a three star hotel. As soon as I stepped in the lobby, it smelled strongly of Indian food. We opened the door to our room to see a dead roach laying on the floor. The sink was clogged.The entire room needs to be deep cleaned. I was very thankful we were only there to sleep for about seven hours and then we would immediately be leaving.
