Quality Inn Magee

Nothing about this stay was pleasant.

It was dirty, the manager tried to force us to leave the same day because we checked on a few hours early when the receptionist said we could. The manager was very rude and impossible to communicate with. We were visiting for a funeral, this was not what we needed.

Room in poor repair. Black around tub. Plumbing drained very slowly. Holes in ceiling above breakfast area.

Absolutely disgusting rooms. When I first got there, the lobby smelled like marijuana, the volume on my tv in the room didn’t work, and the sprinkler system in the bathroom was badly rusted and dripping. There was a puddle of rust water on the floor. I ended up asking to switch rooms based off of the tv issue. The new room was even worse. First off, they gave me a smoking room when I booked non smoking, so the stale smoke smell made me sick. The ancient lamp on the desk was literally an electrical hazard. I could hear the surge in it if turned on. The desk chair was disgusting and had a broken wheel. The dresser was broken at the bottom. The wall had a big spot of sheet rock mud that wasn’t finished and just painted over. The sofa and chair in the living room was just as bad, if not worse looking/stained as the desk chair. Not sure how it’s possible, but the bathroom was even worse. The toiletries looked used. They were not full. The toilet took 15-20 seconds of holding the handle down before it would flush, and sometimes wouldn’t even fully flush. The faucet in the shower was rusted and dripping as well. Had a blue/green stain on the tub from where the water was dripping. My water actually was the same color when I first turned it on. It leaked from the faucet and shower head as well. The shower curtain smell was horrible. Only thing included in the complimentary breakfast was a few pieces of bacon and bread that ran out quick. I’m sure I’m missing something in this review.

Great service. Loved the price. Everything was very clean. The front desk lady Ms. April was really sweet and took care of us. Really safe. Liked the location because it was close to the places I had to be. totally will be staying there again. recommend for a homey feeling.
