New World Shunde Hotel

Concierge staffs are so nice and helpful, especially the lady who help us to check in very helpful. Especially the volunteer guy wear eyeglasses is very very nice. The room is so clean and tidy. Location is in the heart of the city. Everything is with 10-15mins walks.

The location of this hotel is superb, surrounded by shopping malls and various shops nearby. Tourist attractions is within walking distance too. Room is spacious and comfortable though design of the room needs some upgrade. The fact that the staffs brought me a bowl of soup on the first day of my stay to make me feel like home is heartwarming. As well as allowing early check in as my flight arrive at 5am.

New World Hotel was probably very nice 10 to 20 years ago. Now the rooms feel quite dated. That said, the staff is well trained and English friendly. The location is also surrounded by lots of places to eat and shop. I would warn any foreigner to avoid the restaurant on the second floor. I don't know about the breakfast buffet, but as for dinner, I ordered from the menu and the food portion was very small and came out cold. Yet the price was expensive and had a 10% additional surcharge.

Good location, transport easily available, rooms are clean and price is reasonable. Most importantly, staff are extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. Even their driver gives a in depth review of the surrounding places and gave us an eye opener regarding the history of Foshan and Shunde.

It's a nice stay in new world hotel shunde, with nice location, facilities and services. Crews are all very nice and helpful, although the health center (sauna and swimming pool) might need a little bit improvement.

I am always enjoy staying at this hotel. It was the rainy week when I stayed, but I could go out for shopping without using umbrella to the next shopping center. I like to come back again to stay this hotel in my trip to Shunde next month.

The sunlight was so strong in the morning affecting the sleeping quality. Better make an indicator to direct people to the shopping mall nearby connecting the hotel Everything was fine. Nice hotel Will live here again if I go to Shunde again. Thanks.

Stay was relatively pleasant. Decently priced and so was the comfort. The condition of the hotel was quite old and as they did not have rooms for 4 people we had to split 2 people per room. However our rooms were also split apart strangely. Cleaning was not super thorough as I believe they don’t vacuum the floor? Well they didn’t the one time my sister stayed in the room but still wanted the room made. The best feature of the hotel was the location. Smack bang in the busiest part in the city means there was lots to see surrounding the hotel with lots of shops and restaurants open until late! It even had its own shopping centre next door which we ran out of time to explore. Also there is a taxi rank just a few metres down for convenience.

The rooms are good, but overall Guest experience is Bad. The Hotel refused to Change the USD to RMB. Hotel said that they can not change currency (Forex) for Indian. Felt very insulted. So next time if any Indian travel and stay with New World Shunde Hotel, they should be very careful that they can not change US Dollars to RMB. Over all not happy with New world Shunde Hotel
