New World Shunde Hotel

As always with Chinese hotels,does not matter if its a hostel or a five star,the service or lack of it,check in is slow,they check all as if you are some criminal and not someone thet brings then business,deposit,he asked for 2000rmb that i dodit carry with me,then it was 1000 then it was 500,my room is paid for in advance and im not a thief,check out same thing,he asked me five tomes i i took anything from the minibar,THERE WASNT ANYTHING IN THE FRIGGING MINIBAR!what could i take?China is rteally a place the less intyeraxction you do with service people the better for your nerves,its not the lack of English,its the lack of grey matter in their brains,if you ask me five times for the minibar why dont you just send someone to go and check?really annoying ansd spoils your otherwise fine stay another thing,theres plenty of notices put up by the police regarding "lecherous acts",what are the hookers by the lift doing there?they were pretty,though,but put your act together if you want better feedback

nice hotel clean, old TV, not much english tv still ok to go there again, good breakfast.

Good hotel overall in a nice and busy part of the city. We stayed in the executive floor and the lounge is great with good view of the city and nice and tidy. Unfortunately, the breakfast served in the lounge is all cold. Not heated up and not kept warm, not good to have cold fry eggs, sausages and dim sum. We expected better food in an executive lounge. Nonsmoking floor but smells of smoke everywhere.

the hotel is old that has been in Shunde for over 20 years. It is clean and the service is good. The location also is convenient to go around that area.

Good hotel and convenience in location. Clean and good bath. Wifi is excellent.

In more than 30 years of traveling and staying at hundreds of hotels, I have never before been offered a free welcoming soup on my first night, delivered to my room. It was a lovely gesture and most welcome after a busy work day. BTW, the chicken soup was absolutely delicious!

Stayed 2 nights. It was a very pleasant stay in nice clean and comfortable room. Had a wonderful buffet dinner at the hotel's restaurant for 150 yuan. Hotel is located next to New World plaza and 5 minutes walk to the shopping street and restaurants.

The hotel is old. The furniture and the tile was broken. The hotel should be refurbish in order to attract more people to stay. Good location, 5 minutes walking distance to qing hui yuan. The ala-carte morning breakfast was delicious.

Very high standard in all respect. Short of resource at reception on the National Day. Rooms were not ready until 8pm when we returned after dinner.

The hotel was great but it s old and they don't do any renovation. So it s a bit dirty and the feeling especially for bathroom is not so great . Location quite good
