Canopy by Hilton Washington Embassy Row

Unfortunately, housekeeping did not fully clean our room after our first night (beds not made, garbage not emptied, and coffee station not replenished). Staff at the front desk were very welcoming.

Beautiful location, felt safe and comfortable. Nice rooms and good restaurant. Helpful front desk, allowed us to check in early and stored baggage after checkout so we could continue exploring DC without them before heading for our train to VA.

Overall it was ok. There is no parking here and valet was $76 a night, luckily there were a couple of PMIs1-2 blocks away that we used for about $35 a night. The hotel room did not seem super clean when we arrived but they do have daily housekeeping. The front staff were very nice. There are three elevators but only two ever worked it seemed and one was so old and badly needed repairs. The hotel wasn’t impressive or anything to write home about but it did the job, I guess.

Hotel location was great and easy access to Uber and city for business appts. Restaurant was great and convenient. Hotel was quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Great service from staff. Bath was an odd design and the towels were rough. No excuse for a $00/ night hotel. Good restaurant (good). Nice lobby.

VERY POOR lighting in the room, especially the bathroom
