Courtyard by Marriott Rockford

I just stayed at this property for 3 nights since I was in town for a family members hospital visit. The room was fine. I like that it had a fridge as well as a microwave. The bed was very comfortable. The shower pressure was unbelievable. I could have stayed in there much longer because it was so good. But, the stand out was the staff. The front desk girls were so caring and went above and beyond for me and my family. They were amazing and their care really meant a lot.

Stay far far far away from this hotel. Marriott should be ashamed that they chose to put their name on this. Under construction (which we were not told) No lighting of any kind outside to even indicate that the hotel is there!! Should be torn down & something else put in it's place!! From substandard rooms with threadbare furniture, to rude desk women at check out. No security cameras. Drug deals in the dark unlit parking lot all day & night (which the staff is well aware of) Told the front desk of my unhappiness & they were going to give me additional "Bonvoy" points. Save your money and book at any other hotel in Rockford!!! This hotel is ten steps below a rent by the hour hotel!!!

Travelers Beware. This hotel is one of the worst places I've ever had the displeasure of staying. Where do we start? Drug deals in the unlight, zero camera parking lot. Severely rude unprofessional staff. They could use a refresher on manners and customer service. Or the moldy, threadbare, broken, uncomfortable, dirty room. Zero mention of construction. They are upgrading? Into what? A halfway house. Plenty of tweakers and crackheads conducting business already. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
