Should have been made clear it was under renovation. Took us ten minutes to figure out how to enter (through kitchen side door). Room was dreary and no hot water. We ended up leaving two hours after checking in as the hotel had no hot water so we couldn’t shower. Still waiting for a refund.

I have been staying at this Courtyard For a number of years with several stays a year. It has been remodeled and the rooms do look very nice with new furniture, flooring, wall coverings and bathroom fixtures. Instead of the orange colors it is a blue color scheme, much better. The rooms would look even better if there was some art work in the rooms. They have a mirror on the wall that lights up as you walk past it. During the middle of the night it lights up the whole room. It appears, now, maybe they have disconnected the lighting feature, much better. I would like to see them put some kind of door trim to block out the light coming through it that also lights up the room and sound travels through. You can easily hear people talking and doors shutting. O our visit in Mukybthere was some girls sports team staying there and they were running up and down the hall and a lot of loud talking. My big issue with this hotel is that we were here for 3 nights, had requested room cleaning on the reservation , and never had one cleaning! We got new towels at the front desk, but it would have been nice for at least one cleaning during our stay. If the come and change the towels and make the bed it would be fine. My other big issue! They are now charging for parking! This hotel is not downtown but out in the suburbs with open parking around the hotel. This is not appropriate! The fee is $5 which is not a huge amount, but it is the principal of it. I am a Bonvoy member and should not have this fee. If they want to charge non Marriott members that is their decision. There is no place near the hotel to park except maybe in a shopping plaza across the street and why should we have to do that. I will be visiting the area again soon and will rethink where I am staying as there a number of other hotels to chose from.
