Ramada by Wyndham Bottrop

Aufgrund des Preises haben wir mehr vom Hotel erwartet.

Zweckmäßig, wenn man eine Nacht in Bottrop schlafen muss.

Freundliches, sauberes Hotel direkt in der Innenstadt und am zentralen Busbahnhof. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ( z.B. Kaufland) in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

The hotel is decent for the price, and has a nice breakfast buffet for a fair price. My one complaint was that I booked (and paid for) a business double room, but was given a normal single room by mistake. When I brought the mistake to the front desk's attention, the staff member provided me two adjoining rooms, which was a nice gesture - but not what I wanted (or paid for). It's not a big deal for me, but it just didn't feel like it was an adequate replacement for what I paid for.

We needed an extra bed time in a double room and that was arranged easily. The hotel is simple but well maintained. Friendly personnel. Plenty of space in the parking and costs 2 euro. Unfortunately no bottled water in the room, and it costs around 3,5 euro next to reception.

Did the job. Clean room.

Stayed here for a weekend wedding so didn't spend a lot of time here, but it was very clean with friendly English speaking staff. The bed was large and comfortable, the breakfast was lovely, with the hot food being hot. English tea available! No drinks in the rooms, and the TVs has one English news channel although this was not a problem for us. Close to the town centre, opposite a large supermarket with restaurants nearby all within walking distance. There is also a gym but we didn't check this out but my cousin who was staying longer used this. The hairdryer was better than the average ones you get too. There was also a market in the town on the Saturday morning. Bottrop is close enough to travel to some of the larger cities, and as we had hired a car from the airport we were able to get there easily. There is a good underground car park which is chargeable at €2 daily. Breakfast was €12.90. There is also a bar. I would stay here again if I was in the vicinity definitely. The wi fi was accessible in rooms.

We stayed there for a weekend for a wedding. The hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable. They have a gym there too which we didn't have time to use due to the nature of our visit. Breakfast was varied, the hot food was hot, and apart from the fact that I am fussy with my English tea, a variation was supplied and it was ok. I would stay there again if I ever found myself in that area and would recommend.
