We stayed here on enight with 7 other couples. Check in was fine, no issues. Room was comfortable, dated and worn down. Room had a microwave and mini fridge. Pool was warm and the hot tub was roomy enough for us. However, the pool closed at 11 pm. We were never asked to leave. There was a unsupervised minor, probably 10 years old, in the pool until well after midnight. No parents in sight. Breakfast was standard fare, make your own waffles, muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, sausage gravy, biscuits, eggs and sausage. No fresh fruit. Overall, nice free food with lots of seating. Probably would stay again if looking for a budget hotel, close to the city of Manistee.

No elevator??? Are you kidding me? Is that even legal? I’m 71 years old, and suddenly I’m hauling two suitcases, up 2 flights of stairs, that weigh over 50 lbs each…. Totally F’d up.

"The motel needs to fix basic things to make it suitable for guests"

The bathroom smelled badly of urine the entire time (three days) we were there. The sink and shower did not drain properly, the sink would back up within just a few seconds of the faucet running on low. The shower wasn't much better.

It was ok. Building is quite old, and nothing inviting to guests on the outside of the building. Doesn’t have a comfortable feeling. However, the room accommodations were satisfactory.
