Coast Swift Current Hotel

We arrived in Swift Current and stayed for only the first night of our five night stay at the Days Inn, where our room could have doubled as a clinical trial for new antibiotics. After quickly checking out and booking into the Coast Hotel, it felt like crossing into another world entirely. The room was spotless, comfortable, and clearly maintained by housekeepers who take real pride in their work. Breakfast was simple and tasty. It wasn’t anything that would earn a Michelin rating, but it was fresh, delicious, and well-prepared - exactly the kind of start you want to your day. Although the meal is not included in the cost of the room, it only costs $5 for a wide variety of breakfast foods made available in buffet style. I've had far worse meals for far more money. The real magic, though, was the staff. Sonu and Eva at the front desk were phenomenal. We happened to arrive at shift change, so both were there — and without us even asking, they realized my octogenarian father would do better in a more accessible room. Five minutes later, we had a better-located room, keys in hand, and my dad feeling like royalty. From the front desk to the breakfast crew, every staff member from the wonderful housekeeping crew (one of whom went out of her way to find extra coffee for us) to the breakfast staff went the extra mile in a way that felt genuine, not scripted. If you want to feel welcome, cared for, and genuinely valued as a guest, the Coast Hotel in Swift Current is where you’ll find it.

The venue was not very up to date based on pricing

This is a beautifully renovation of an older property. The staff were great and we very much enjoyed the quality of the beds.

The room with the toilet and tub was tiny and it made it quite difficult to close the door from inside.

There was a stale smell in the room, and the carpet was stained. The bar had no windows and had around a dozen noisy gambling machines. Breakfast was very good.

Our family enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the manager of the hotel who went above and beyond to ship the refrigerated medication that had accidentally left behind. She was able to get the medication in time for my next dose and before I left my last stop in Canada before continuing out of the country. Thank you so so much! Great customer service!

Great stay. Clean and friendly staff.

Front desk clerk very welcoming and accomadating . Our rooms heating/cooling fan very loud. Clean bedding but found sheets to be rough in texture. Our fridge only kept cool on top level for our food. Overall decent average mid priced accomadations
