The room was clean.

I arrived after placing a reservation through Booking.com. The Motel Manager said there was no reservation for me. I showed him e-mails from Booking.com confirming my reservation. He still denied reserving anything for me through Booking.com. He did tell me that he did have the same room I had requested but the charge was more than the fee from Booking.com. Then after around an hour, he called and informed me that he had arranged for a cancellation of the Booking.com reservation that I had made. This was obviously a scheme to make more money at the traveller's expense.

Overall the room was clean. However, the wifi barely worked and it was a picture of a cotton field above the my bed I didn’t appreciate that definitely felt racist. Won’t be booking again.
