Days Inn by Wyndham Alma

This property is ungoing renovations, so the area outside the room was understandably messy. But the areas that have been finished, including much of our room, are lovely. The lobby and dining room are great, and our room is only missing updates on some of the furniture items. The price was GREAT - best we found on our travels - and the young lady at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful.

The Hotel is under construction, not disclosed at time of booking. The entire grounds of this Hotel were dirty mostly due to the construction. The hotel staff was unprofessional, They looked not as a hotel staff should. Not dressed professionally nor were they well articulated. When ask the view the room I was spoken to as if I was insulting the management staff. The room itself was said to be re-done. Floors, paint and a new bathroom shower. However not any bathroom fixtures at all where new, old beds & bed comforters with cigarette wholes in them. Stained sheets & towels. Toilet was leaking around based. Refrigerator was a rust bucket and microwave looked like it fell down a flight of stairs. Advised management but nothing was addressed. The demographics of the hotel was not comfortable either, allot of people handing outside their rooms and drinking and smoking taking place. Did feel at ease to say the least. I truly hope this sends a reality check to this hotel establishment. Get you act together. It a same cause there is only one other option and that place was a complete Sh#t hole. In conclusion, I will never stay at this Hotel again. Hotels.com need to also do a better job of vetting your list of accommodations.

The room was remodeled completely. Very clean. Breakfast options very limited. No elevator to second floor.

The young lady that checked me in was so personable and cheerful. The bed was very very comfortable, and the location is in a great place because it gives one access to the myriad of dining establishments in Alma that are all within walking distance.

There was a new lady on the front desk that was very rude with us. We used to do and stay there every month but since that lady treated us like that we are not coming back!

This is a wonderful hotel to stay at. Highly recommended! If I am in this area again I will be sure and stay here. For the price, it is a great value. Even the shower curtain was neatly folded up like a fan. 👍👍
