Days Inn by Wyndham Oceanside

Liked that the location of the hotel was within walking distance to the marina, ocean and Denny's and Del taco. Liked that the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. O.k. Continental breakfast.

Convenience to the beach and restaurants. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Our room was designated as handicap on the door, but had no garb bars in bathtub and the sink was way too high. We are not handicapped, but are in our late 70's and 80's.

Provides all the basics at reasonable cost.

This is our “Go to” hotel when we need a good affordable get away. The location is perfect for a walk to the Harbor Shops or down to the beach.

Sometimes you can hear the traffic but it has never been overwhelming. This trip, the pool and hot tub were under repair, so they were unavailable.

Close to the harbour and also walkable to the pier if you don’t mind walking for a while

Constant train noise at night, some rooms may be quieter than others. When we arrived the pool was closed for maintenance and there was no prior communication. If we had known we would have changed to a different hotel. No compensation or apologies offered either - when you visit in May it is an expectation that the pool will be available. If the advertised services are not available then there should be compensation. The beds are on a metal base that you keep bumping into and it makes the worst noise. We were on the ground floor and unable to open windows so the room was always stuffy.

The rail train heard every 30 min.

Old rundown, the place was absolutely nowhere close to the ocean being visible and the online photos most of been of a different place or when it was built in the 1800's

We left the same hour we check in because I believe it was false advertised
