"Decent enough for a guy"

My spouse & I stayed here on a trip to Indianapolis for Irish Fest. The hotel is approximately 10 minutes drive time from the Fest's beautiful Garfield Park location. Although I requested ground floor accommodation, we were booked on the second floor (no elevator.) At check-in, desk clerk observed the spouse's limp and re-booked us a ground floor room. Pluses: Free parking. Room was pretty clean and beds were clean. WiFi worked well. Private restroom was very clean with adjustable hot & cold faucets. There was standard motel-size soap on the vanity counter and in the tub surround. Desk clerk was very helpful, bringing us extra towels, plugging in the TV and attempting to get the vanity light to work. The air conditioning worked very well. Black & White photos on walls were tasteful and interesting. Amenities included a hard-wired telephone. Negatives: Swimming pool was closed for repairs. Room furniture, carpet & plastic drapes were shabby. Vanity lacked a mirror, . Instead of the two cute bedside tables and lamps in the picture, our room had a single small dresser between the beds. At our request the helpful desk clerk brought a lamp, but there wasn't an electrical outlet. There was no coffee maker in the room and no coffee seen or smelled in the public area either morning of our stay. The mini-refrigerator in our room froze our left-overs. There was one-fourth to one-third of a roll of TP in the bathroom. (I picked up a full roll from the front desk.) One of us slipped off the toilet (loose seat) twice. No plug for the bathtub. Bathroom fan sounded like a Mack truck idling. Had an interracial argument outside our motel room Friday night that lasted 45 minutes. Saturday night featured an all-white m-f foursome heatedly arguing. Spouse called front desk and was told security was handling it. We probably won't be staying there again, but wonder how many of the negatives are attributable to the Covid-19 panic affecting travel-related revenue. We are monitoring our financial transaction to make they remove the $50 security deposit they added.

"Totally disappointed."

The hotel looked derelict. People doing drugs in hotel !!!!!! People living in van outside hotel . Noisy at night . Parents not watching children . Towels and sheets looked like they had been used. Felt scared .

"The worst motel I've stayed at."

Do not stay at this motel. We flew into Indianapolis late. If we had gotten there ealier I would have cancelled and stayed elswhere. I've stayed at Travelodges before and some are very good and some are average. This one rates a don't stay here.

"Sleep with the Mice"

Never stay here. Sleep on the floor in the airport. Dirtier in the hotel. No elevator. If this is a boutique hotel, then Motel 6 is a resort spa. I did, however, befriend the mouse that joined me in the toilet. Do not go here. Never.

"A trash heap with a roof"

I was here for four nights in room 221, and at no point during the stay was my room cleaned, including before I arrived. When I arrived there was food (popcorn and something else I couldn't identify) on the floor, food wrappers and bottle caps on the floor and on the shelf of the nightstand, all but one of the lamps were without bulbs, and other issues (see photos). I took it up with the front desk clerk who checked me in, he said it'd be taken care of, so I left to attend the convention for which I had traveled. When I returned after 11:00pm that night, the room had not been cleaned. I notified a second front desk clerk who identified himself as Chance, who made a show of writing down my complaint and drawing a star next to it, assuring me that my complaint was unfortunately common but that it would be handled if it came from him. I slept and went about my business the next day, when I returned to the hotel around the same time on the second night, there still had been no clean-up. When I left my room every morning around 7:00am I could see cleaning carts and cleaning staff, so I know they were there, they clearly just don't care about their jobs. I overheard other guests in the lobby and in the halls with similar complaints, mostly cleanliness issues and poor service (or complete lack thereof) from the hotel staff. By the end of my stay (I stayed 1-5 August), I was still the only person to set foot in my room. At no point was it cleaned, or towels replaced, or anything to indicate that my complaints had been heard or that the bare minimum amount of hygiene standards had been exhibited by the staff. I'm sure that what I experienced constitutes some kind of health and/or safety violation, and the staff does not care. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at by a wide margin.

"Worst hotel ever"

Dirty rundown over priced. You need to shower and even wash your luggage when you get home. Worried about catching anything . Smells stale and dirty. No amenities what do ever. Towels could be used as a loofah they were so scratchy..

"DO NOT stay in this awful hotel"

We paid 80 a night. No MAID service at all! YOU get nothing besides what is in the room. Two scratchy small dirty towels. The first room had black mold and soft bathroom walls. YUCK!!! The floors in the rooms are lumpy. The tv has a remote but sleep does not work on it. Its posted no loitering or hanging out outside, yet they put up a smoking table in parking area and the pay by the week and visitors party out there all hours of the night. No shampoo, no conditioner. Greasy bottles of body wash are in room 2 of them. Doors slamming all day and night. Kids running around. Was the worst place in all my 60 years that I have stayed out. I would demand a refund if I thought they cared enough to give it. Totally ruined my vacation. Wyndham stop buying hotels until you actually fix the ones you have. The stench was disgusting. Some customer was mopping the floor. I can go on and on. WILL not stay in a wyndham again. OH and the day crew wont help joining your Wyndham honors. The night crew does not even know the rates for day to day. When asked if the towels were changed, beds made etc. Was told we dont do that. We dont have mades. Gads. Funny we paid 180 plus for 3 nights and yet the rate is 45. Hmm whose keeping the money ?

"Indylodge Indianapolis, In"

This place looks good at face value but when you really start looking it is one of the nastiest places you will ever stay. I walked in they took me to a room that smelled like mold and mildew along with the smell of animal urine you would have thought something died in the room. When my kids and I went to complain and get our money back they would not even offer us another room. We did get our money back and went somewhere else.

"I Left One Hour After Checking In When I Discovered Bedbugs"

Wyndham should be ashamed to have its Travelodge name on this place. It's the worst place I've ever attempted to stay (I left after being there an hour after finding bedbugs). I'm just hoping that I didn't carry any of them out with me. I've stayed at other Wyndham value hotels that were okay for the money, but this place has made me decide to avoid Wyndham properties. I believe the place is just now converting to Wyndham because the Travelodge name is on a canvas tarp covering the old signage. Wyndham should close the place until it's quality is lifted above disgusting. I travel every week and I'm not particularly picky, but this place should be avoided.

"Wow really $95? For what?"

There is an a rating that low our room was nasty our pillows were dirty we didn't have no towels no clean blankets I had to go down and ask for a pillow and they stuffed sheets inside a pillowcase for me there was bugs like I said the mattresses didn't look clean the table wasn't clean I went down and I complained and he said that it should have been cleaned while he looked at the notes from the housekeepers and noticed that my room had not been cleaned it had only been 15 minutes from the time that the last people checked out when they gave me that room and when I asked him how he could fix it he said he could give me $2 off my next rental we were 300 miles from home my son got an infection they made him mis school for 3 weeks and being hospital the pic step below is my eight year old son with autism I mean does he really deserve this he's a good kid
