"This facility is not worth what we paid for"

To be fair; the floors were nice and seemed brand new.

The sink has old caulking with rust on it. The toilet seat is stained and needs to be replaced. The biggest thing was when we walked in the room and closed the door. There was a cockroach on the door which I had to kill. We saw several roaches while we there.

"Don't stay at Luxury Hotel and Suites, it's a scam."

The owner was kind and trying.

Was caught up in a scam by the motel's booking agent. I booked the motel thru Booking.com , and the motel sent me an email the day of the reservation, and said my card had been refused for insufficient funds (was not true, I checked with AMEX). When I called the motel, they said they had one room left, but instead of the $104 price from Booking, it would be $140, made me book it on the phone even tho I was 20 minutes away by then, and recorded the conversation. When I arrived, the owner asked me to sign a receipt for $87, which he said "is all I get from the reservation." I learned that when you call the hotel, his booking agent answers. I asked him who his booking agent is and he said EXPEDIA. I have reported all this to American Express, and to Booking.com and they are investigating.
