Bonjour, Je vous contacte concernant ma réservation effectuée via votre plateforme dans l’établissement Holiday Inn Express Quebec City-Sainte Foy by IHG. À notre arrivée, nous avons été confrontés à une panne majeure d’eau chaude, confirmée par l’hôtel comme un incident non planifié. Cette situation a été particulièrement difficile à vivre, car nous étions en famille avec deux jeunes enfants, et nous avions un besoin urgent de pouvoir nous doucher après un long trajet. J’avais également pris soin de signaler à l’avance qu’il s’agissait de l’anniversaire de mon mari, et j’espérais un petit geste ou une attention spéciale à notre arrivée. Malheureusement, rien n’a été préparé, et aucune alternative ne nous a été proposée. Enfin, malgré les désagréments importants subis, l’hôtel a refusé tout geste commercial, au motif que la réservation avait été faite via Booking.com. Je trouve cette réponse regrettable, car cela revient à pénaliser les clients qui réservent via votre plateforme. Comfy beds and good shower. The breakfast was okay but there could have been some cooked tomatoes to make it less ‘beige’. Number 25 bus stop very close to hotel for direct link into the city. Great Italian within walking distance. Phillipe at front of house was amazing when we checked in and gave us lots of tips (Italian and transport). Good selection of ‘forgotten items’ to purchase via the shop including some food items, alcohol and wash-kit. A good stop over for a weekend stay if visiting Quebec - see below comments re road works.

Zero recycling in the dinning area, in fact the recycling bin was covered up on both days of our stay. There are major roads works being undertaken around the hotel so it is a little challenging to find the way into the hotel also the bleep, bleep of vehicles reversing does start early.
