Days Inn by Wyndham Lincoln

I had a family emergency my sister and her family were staying at Days Inn in Lincoln. They did not have time to get their belongings. I called the office and told them what was going on and that my sister and her family stuff was still in the room. The lady calmed me down and said are you going to stay another night. I said yes. The lady told me to check back in the same way I did before, and she would put the room in the system. My sisters stuff didn't have to be moved and my family was so grateful for the night stay. We were all tired but cared for. Thank you Days Inn Lincoln

Location was close to I20. Easy on easy off. Breakfast was ok. Great coffee. Water pressure and shower was great. Hot water was hot. The rooms look mostly renovated. Bathroom was renovated and clean. The bed was comfortable. Hotel was clean. Ample parking. Food and gas station was close. The staff was great.

My room smelled liked stale menthol cigarettes and there was a mildewy dampness in the air in the room and throughput the hotel. I had to wash all my clothes, suitcases and travel bags when I got home. Some stuff had to be dry cleaned because the smell was pungent.

No pool. Staff couldn't give me a receipt for my expenses. I tried to explain what I meant but gave up and left frustrated. Only one lady seemed fluent in English out of the four employees I talked to.

Upon arrival the lobby smelled of heavy cigarette smoke, and check in process was good, however, once getting into the room with my family the room smelled of terrible mold and moisture and smoke and we had to just deal with it as it smelled like that throughout the whole bottom floor. But overall the location was ok. Also the nighttime front desk lady was not very friendly when we asked for a couple things for the room, ect. soap pillows, towels it didn’t seem like she wanted to help us.

They treated me like family. I checked in to the hotel to help my mother who was going through a medical procedure. They understood my situation and helped me and my family. They even went to the extra mile calling me by name. With my family coming and going they were so understanding. I thank them from me and my family.
