Great art deco hotel (1939, I think) with helpful and friendly staff. Great location at the end of South Beach - away from the noisier part of Ocean Drive and the beach. Overall, it was a more quiet area, which I like. It was also close the free trolley stop and lots of restaurants, CVS, Walgreen's etc.

The bed was a little soft for me and the walls were a little thin - but it's still a great hotel and I recommend staying there. I would like to see the exterior a little more lit up with neon.

The location was great for me to get to the seaport in the morning.

The name speaks for itself. OLD! Do not trust the website photos. There is absolutely no handicap access even for the first floor….stairs only even to leave the lobby to the first floor. Outlets wouldn’t hold plugs, ceiling caving in, many repair needs. Very musty.
