Econo Lodge Albuquerque Old Town

Not much

Room was a dump. Fixtures were falling off, floor was dirty, refrigerator was leaking water all over.

Niente.

Molto sporca. Ho provato tre camere e tutte avevano i segni del mocho su tutto il pavimento. Se strofinavi un fazzoletto bagnato diventava nero. Il receptionist maleducato e scocciato, dichiarava che le camere erano pulite.

Friendly staff.

It was clean, but the furniture and everything was old.

The bed.

The smell of cleaner and perfume in the room was very strong. We had to air it out. Even with the open window, it was difficult to breathe. The bathroom floor was dirty. There was a long black hair in the towels. The pool was stained, I couldn't tell if the water was clean or not.

Very good breakfast!

Proximity to the Historical District and being on route 66. The student who was working when we checked in was superb, (the ladies in the morning at checkout were ok but seemed grumpy!). Parking was easy.

The air con unit was noisy and kept going on then off during the night instead of being constant. Pillows were uncomfy.

Great and quiet location. The Chinese guy at the reception is very cool and helpful. One of the cleanest motels I stay during my 2 weeks of route 66 driving.

As always the drain in the shower was semi blocked. But I do kind of expect that everywhere.
