The low price.

I wasn't thrilled with the fact that I had requested a ground floor room and that request was ignored. I received an email, after I booked the room, that breakfast and the pool would not be available "due to Covid". I find that weird since Covid has been over for a few years and all other hotels in the area are doing breakfast and pools. The hotel is in need of updating.

The room was clean enough. It's advertised to have a pool and hot tub. CLOSED. Ice machine, doesn't work. TV, no signal. I requested a ground floor for my 90 year old mother, not available, 2nd floor, no elevator. I do not recommend this property.

Room was quiet except when the guests above us got up early, their walking noise was sufficient to wake us. The bed was comfortable but the room was tight quarters. If you sat at the desk, the air conditioner blew right on you. The chair handles caught on the desk, making it difficult to navigate. The bathroom was so small, as my father would have said, "It's too small to change your mind in. The breakfast offers were meager.

I had a late check-in, arriving at 11:00 pm. There was no staff on site, just a number to call on the counter. When answered, I was directed to go across the street to the Quality Inn, where I could get my room key. Getting back and finding my way to the room, I couldn't help but notice the poor condition of the hallways and the stairs leading to my room. Gross and sticky. Entering my room, my niece and I were greeted by a HOTT, uncomfortable room, and an unknown smell. The carpet was un-vacuumed and hadn't seen a carpet cleaner in years, by the looks of it. There was old vomit by the window near the air conditioner, which to was filthy and covered in dead bugs, mold, and dust. The bedding was worn and tattered, pillow cases torn at the seams, and rips in the fitted bed sheet, all with stains. The bathroom was probably the cleanest part of the room, but not clean. One should never have to play guess that stain and whether this towel was washed and safe to use. Needless to say, they shouldn't collect incidental fees because the room was a wreck. Don't waste your money, double it and stay elsewhere. Had there been rooms elsewhere, and believe me, I looked, I would've left and I'm one usually happy to have a place to rest my head. Never have I left a review like this, and I hope to never again. I'm tempted to avoid this chain altogether. Upon reading past reviews from a year ago to two weeks ago, and management response. I feel there has been no attempt to improve.

The room smelled like vicks

The front desk folks I encountered over my two night stay were so pleasant and accommodating I hate to slam the place with a two star rating. The property has the bones to be a decent budget hotel. The halls and rooms were quite dated, but clean. But I wondered what would be the next thing not to function. I stayed there specifically because of the coin laundry and and the outside pool. The side door lock didn't work , which created a potential security problem. There is a cycling floodlight outside my window, which fortunately the blackout curtains mitigated. Burned out light bulbs around pool. Coin laundry broken. And the pool was closed by the department of health. It wasn't so bad that we left. But we weren't sorry to go. And I can't imagine or staying there again.

we got to the property at 1 am . Had to call front desk clerk to check in . he advised us the room was not ready and was going to find a "clean" room for us. after waiting for 10 minute at the lobby he came back and gave keys. when we got to room 2221 the odor was terrible, the carpet all stained with black spots and the beds poorly made. I returned to the front desk to change rooms and was informed they had n other 2 queen beds. front desk clerk offer a refund but I needed a room to sleep after many hours driving. he ended up offering two king rooms which were decent but filthy. we found stains in the sheets and a sock from previous guest. very dissapointing.
