Econo Lodge Cameron

We came in during a snow storm with our 4 children and reserved the 3 queen suite. The heat in our room was not working. The room temp was in the lower 40's. We barely slept. Staff told us it was a breaker issue. I asked 5 other guests/families staying amd they all said their rooms were very cold as well. Our room was not just cold because the heater wasn't running and a breaker was off. The heater was running and it was still painful to step on the tile floor and we're from North Iowa. We're used to cold. This was a pre-existing issue. The floors don't get THAT cold in a short amount of time. Our children woke up crying and freezing. We packed as quickly as possible in the a.m. to get into our warm vehicle. I notified the front desk about our room and they didnt even offer any kind of apology or partial refund initially. I was appalled. We get 30 minutes down the road to see they have just charged us $22 to our card. We turned around to confront the issue in person. When we first spoke he heard me say I was watering my dog, who did not enter our room. He stayed in the van. So staff assumed we brought a dog in and charged us for it. He gave me the $22 back but was pushing back to offer anything else for our horrible stay. Until another family walked in the door and he threw $50 in the counter and said, "There, you happy now!?" On top of everyone freezing, the fridge door would not shut and it ruined our leftovers. The bathroom door was unable to be shut because it was stuck locked with no way to unlock it so there was no privacy for our big crew. The couches entire pleather material was coming off. I would never reccomend Econo Lodge to anyone for any reason. We would have been better off sleeping with our dog in the car. It would have been warmer...We'll NEVER be back.

Looks run down cheap fixes tv picture was blurry but it was clean and comfortable

Outside and inside looked run down and like isome things were fixed but it was cheaply done and done quickly

The bathroom looked bad, the tv was barely in the wall some channels didn’t even work, we had to tighten the shower head just to take a shower and then we lost all hot water for 10 min every shower!!

Good location, staff are always really nice. Clean rooms.

Refrigerator froze Oliver food. We had to throw it away because it was frozen. Solid, the bathtub was trimmely dirty. The toilet wouldn't flush properly. The sink was really, really badly made because it was cracked in many places. The bed was extremely loud and laying on a bed made of a big piece of metal, very loud and uncomfortable and the AC literally never got warm. It was only cold, absolute terrible place but never go there again ever in my life. If I could give you A. Zero I would

I booked the room quickly about 30 minutes away, didnt realize smoking allowed in rooms in missouri. They gave me a non smoking roomafter I checked in since someone cancelled late. I appreciated the extra customer service.
