Location very good to motorways snd place we needed to go. Breakfast very good. Lovely staff. Free room upgrade that included mini bar

Close to Harry Potter studio, nice to have a swimming pool, good breakfast

I hardly ever give a negative comment, but for this one, I am afraid I have to mention the below: Staff member at the reception when checking us in was somehow wearing no smile at all, first claimed our booking did not include breakfast, which I corrected and said we did for all five guest. He then said our booking had no parking so I have to pay, I again corrected him, and he asked to see proof, so I showed him my booking and reiterated that I had exchanged message with the hotel in advance just to confirm that I indeed have booking (I’m a genius level 3 member), he then looked at my phone and eventually agreed I had both. Not exactly welcoming or well prepared!

Walking in, it felt like a luxury hotel, staff were lovely. Dinner was exceptional with the waiting staff also being fantastic. The room was large, well equipped

The air con is pretty basic and has been set not to go below 18. The bed has a huge divot in it The swimming pool and surrounding facilities were very underwhelming The breakfast was pretty poor. The powdered scrambled eggs were inedible. Watching the fried eggs come out of a pool of oil wasn’t much better. Then the fruit and yoghurt options didn’t seem to be filled
