Harbour Hotel Padstow

Whole experience of breakfast was awful, it was that bad that we didn’t go for the second morning. The service was terrible had to wait to be seated, had to wait for tea and coffee (coffee eventually turned up but the tea didn’t) there was not much option and the banana bread was like sand.

More staff on a morning, fresh orange juices not the cheap tasting stuff. More options and fresher banana bread!

Nearly everything,except buffet a bit mean but adequate

We had a ground floor room with door to garden, the patio area to this was very dirty with cobwebs and obviously not been cleaned forceeeks,shame because the hanging baskets and planting showed someone cared

Location, Room, Views, Restaurant with lovely views and open windows + fans, all excellent. We enjoyed Dinner in the Restaurant one night and the Bar and outside grass terrace all with beautiful views. The restaurant was used for Breakfast too so the same beautiful views to start the day. Service was generally good and sometimes excellent.

Breakfast was a little rushed and could maybe be extended 'til 10.30am to cope with late arrivals. My husband enjoyed the cooked breakfast but found the meat Full English a little small and another day the Vegetarian Full English quite large. I have to eat Gluten-free food. The Gluten free toast was good but the banana bread was not very tasty and tiny slices and gluten-free croissants are usually not very good anywhere so I did not try that. I would have liked to have a banana every morning (not just the last day), and Soya milk available to drink, and perhaps Gluten-free brioche buns. Service sometimes tailed off as the meal went on and sometimes there was no-one around to ask for things (breakfast and dinner)

Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt in keiner Form. Das Bett war durchgelegen, das Oberbett ebenso wie der Teppich stark verschmutzt. Zur Dusche ist der Wannenrand zu überklettern und der Tresor ist auf dem Fußboden geschraubt. Das Haus ist besonders hellhörig und man wird von den Schritten über einen bis weit nach Mitternacht wach gehalten. Unser Zimmer war nur über die offene Terassentüre zu lüften, so waren tagsüber Gäste und Nachts auch schon mal Tiere fast im Zimmer.

The TV did not work, impossible to open the windows. The bathtub doesn't have safety handles.
