Harbour Hotel Padstow

The room was fantastic - huge, light and airy, with view over the estuary and door directly onto garden. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Hotel had all the necessary facilities and a lovely breakfast room with views.

Outside and windows need updating/restoring having to pay for upgrade in breakfast as other hotels in the area don’t do this.

Location and we managed to get into the car park. Our room had a lovely view of the estuary. Sunday lunch was fabulous.

Three of the top floor estuary view rooms don’t have a view unless you’re standing up and then you have an overhang in front of the windows. I asked to move to a ‘proper view’ and they did move us. Please stop charging for cappuccinos at the included breakfast. It’s not a specialty coffee these days so just include it in the price. If you charge more than £250 a room per night you can just include it!

Happy to be moved to a room with walk in shower rather than bath we were allocated

No bath mat. Room not made up at all on one day. Water and biscuits not replaced.

Staff were excellent

Parking area was quite overgrown so difficult to get into and out of car( far side - enormous weeds)

The location is excellent . The staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed and yet everything is of a high standard

The parking ! Going through the arch to the lower car park and back again is enough to send your blood pressure haywire !
