The duty manager was kind and showed us to a different room.

On arrival we noticed a leak in the lobby and alerted the front desk. We went to our room, it wasnt very big and felt claustrophobic. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep on it. We were upgraded to another room which was 2 singles for 3 people 🤔 the bed was too hard and the pillows were lumpy. We were to exhausted and embarrassed to say anything, not a great experience and probably wouldn't book at a holiday inn again. The staff were pleasant especially hotel deputy manager.

The breakfast was poor. The hot selection looked and tasted like it had been out for hours and not fresh. The bed in our room was rock hard and not comfortable at all.

The location was very good. Didn't have to wrestle with difficult traffic further into town Easy to find. Staff welcoming and responded to humour. Range of food was excellent to suit all tastes. Reception staff were very communicative and very warming welcome
