GBVery polite, friendly and welcoming hosts. Beautiful property, sympathetically and tastefully decorated, good bathrooms, lovely furniture, on-site parking a big bonus.
The only issue was the bed was a bit soft, but that is just a personal preference.
GBThe Ivy Guest house is a lovely old building in Hawkshead, the location was perfect for being in the village, we didn't realise how small Hawkshead is but still was nice to be able to get into the village. It was handy for on-site parking, the room was extremely clean, the bed very comfortable and overall it was a very comfortable place to be for the number of nights we were there. The owners were very helpful as well, had some suggestions for places to go and very accommodating.

Room was chilly, shower wasn't very warm or powerful. Breakfast was disappointing, poor quality ingredients and weak coffee.
