We enjoy the friendly service as we check in , they also treat us with a cookie and water, When we leave early in the morning before breakfast is ready the dest clerks always find a muffin for us😊

"Average American chain hotel, decent location in Helena"

First, note there are 2 Fairfield hotels in Helena. This one is the more centrally-located of the two, being just about 1.5 miles from the Capitol. There is nothing really special about the hotel--it is clean, rooms are nice, and they have a paltry 'free' breakfast of some muffins, fruit, and a waffle machine. I found it very pricy for this standard hotel room. Still, it was a decent stay for one night.
